San Luis Cottages

While stopped on a street in San Luis Obispo, California I took a picture of these cute and colorful cottages. The late afternoon sun made the image all the more striking.

Windswept Windswept really is the perfect name for this pastel. These craggy trees were growing near a windy beach in Australia. NFS Urns The pastel I did of these Filoli urns won me a 1st place award at a Filoli art show and competition. I sold it at the show as well. More Chickens Our dear friends have a ranch with these beautiful chickens! I sold this pastel a few years later. Sold

Beyond the Fence

While stopped a light in Half Moon Bay I quickly snapped this picture of beautiful trees up against an old fence. Unfortunately this fence and trees are no longer there having been torn up for a not so interesting and very new fence. I'm happy this pastel preserved a special landscape. NFS
