Graffiti Train

While visiting a friend in Redwood City, California, I noticed a couple of freight train cars parked on the tracks. I absolutely loved the graffiti! I painted this in oils.

Windswept Windswept really is the perfect name for this pastel. These craggy trees were growing near a windy beach in Australia. NFS Urns The pastel I did of these Filoli urns won me a 1st place award at a Filoli art show and competition. I sold it at the show as well. More Chickens Our dear friends have a ranch with these beautiful chickens! I sold this pastel a few years later. Sold

Beyond the Fence

While stopped a light in Half Moon Bay I quickly snapped this picture of beautiful trees up against an old fence. Unfortunately this fence and trees are no longer there having been torn up for a not so interesting and very new fence. I'm happy this pastel preserved a special landscape. NFS
